My name is Diego Guerra-Fleitas, and I am an aspiring student, scholar, and writer. As a student, I am attracted to the literature of Renaissance Spain and Italy with a particular interest in chivalric romance (Orlando Innamorato, Orlando Furioso, Tirante el Blanco, Don Quijote, etc.). However, we are all defined by more than what we study, and I am fond reader of Japanese literature and an erstwhile musician trying to learn classical guitar. Also working on memes.

As a writer I hope to achieve a sense of deeper appreciation for the many creative figures that have impacted my worldview and for the people who surround me as well. That being said, this site is for the dissemination of creative pieces that I share as well as informal microessays aimed at situating recommendations, opinions, and meditations.
